Organic ingredients and great wine

After 8 years of being open, we felt that Esca and Tábla should not be separated from each other anymore, but exist together, representing all that we love at one place. We kept the name Esca (as it was our first project), and now, the atmosphere has become more relaxed, a perfect place to enjoy a glass or bottle of natural wine, while maintaining our food concept in focus.

On Tuesdays and Wednesdays we are open as a bottle shop and wine bar with some snacks available next to the drinks. Our full gourmet kitchen is open from Thursday to Sunday, with a frequently changing small plate selection and our 6 course tasting menu as well.

On our shelves you can find more than 300 bottles from around Europe – all of which are available for take away or for enjoying in house – with frequent changes to the by the glass list.

Our wine selection represents our passion about sustainable viticulture and minimal intervention, thus embracing the essence of natural winemaking. Alongside the importance of representing our favourite Hungarian winemakers, Esca gives home to the whole Szofi by Nature collection, in which you can find some of the most renowned names from across Europe, offering you the chance to discover both well-known favourites and hidden gems.
