Platan Gourmet Restaurant

The two Michelin-star Platán Gourmet Restaurant is located in Tata, which is within 1 hour by car from Budapest. The restaurant opened in May 2021, and the Michelin Guide awarded it with two stars in November 2022.

István Pesti overtook the responsibility of heading the kitchen of Platán Restaurant in 2015 with the goal of demonstrating that the countryside can offer high-quality hospitality that we can take pride in. The chef’s degustation menus are famous for good reason, many believing that he is the chef with the most beautifully plated dishes in Hungary.

Platán Gourmet Restaurant offers our guests an extraordinary culinary experience, what can be found on the moat’s level and offers 12 courses, seasonally changing degustation menus with wine or a non-alcoholic beverage pairing.
