Rakas Restaurant is located on the Arctic Circle, in connection with the Arctic TreeHouse Hotel, on the hill of Syväsenvaara. From here, breathtaking views of the surrounding nature unfold. The combination of Arctic nature, luxurious comfort, Lappish traditions, and Nordic design creates a truly unique restaurant setting. The main building, which houses the hotel reception and the restaurant, is designed as a five-pointed snowflake. The large windows in the restaurant flood the space with light, offering a stunning view directly into the surrounding nature. During dinner, guests can enjoy the dancing Northern Lights, a clear starlit sky, or the summer's midnight sun. Inside, the restaurant is spacious and inviting. The partitions, materials, and dark colour scheme make the space warm and intimate.
