GMP Pühajärve Restaurant respects local produce and Estonian food culture in its kitchen. “Whenever possible, we always use ingredients grown by the excellent farmers in the surrounding area. Just as nature lives, breathes, and evolves, we move in harmony with it,” explains head chef Koit Uustalu.

The restaurant strives to offer guests new, high-quality, and pure flavors. “We want to be the best companion to our visitors and carry forward our philosophy of good taste and purity. À la carte menu

The menu, created by head chef Koit Uustalu, offers a memorable culinary journey, with a strong focus on local ingredients. The carefully curated menu, though concise, includes both appetizers and lighter bites, such as crispy goat cheese with onion jam and sea buckthorn sauce, as well as heartier dishes that provide unforgettable taste experiences. Pähkla trout with potato and chive cream, scallops with saffron risotto and pumpkin, and beef tenderloin with mulgi porridge croquette, truffle cream, and red wine sauce are just a few examples of what can be found on the seasonal menu.

GMP Chef’s Table

At GMP’s Chef’s Table, guests have the opportunity to experience an extraordinary culinary adventure. The head chef and his team take diners on a gastronomic journey, offering an 8- or 10-course tasting menu inspired by Southern Estonian flavors and the restaurant’s culinary philosophy. To complement the experience, one of Estonia’s top sommeliers, Mikk Parre, has created a wine pairing that can be ordered separately. Mikk Parre has won numerous awards, including the title of Best Sommelier of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in 2024, as well as Estonia’s Best Sommelier in 2022 and 2023.

GMP Pühajärve Restaurant can accommodate up to 80 guests indoors, making it a perfect venue for weddings and celebrations.

During the summer, the restaurant opens its scenic terrace, where guests can enjoy exquisite flavors and refreshing drinks in the fresh air.
