Welcome to the Seventeenth Heavens

On the seventeenth-floor of the Hotel Alsik is the high-end restaurant Syttende. Named after its floor level, this restaurant has the most remarkable view to enjoy while dining on the finest ingredients. From this height, you can see Sønderborg’s harbourfront and Flensborg Fjord.

The restaurant dines only seven tables, as the acclaimed top chef, Jesper Koch and his team refuse to compromise on the individual’s experience. That way, they ensure that each guest has an intimate and intense experience of aromas and flavours up in the skies.

Syttende is Jesper’s vision, and together with Peter, they have developed and refined every detail of Syttende’s restaurant and kitchen. The two chefs share the same sky-high ambitions and both are characterised by a total inability to compromise on quality and flavour.
