Sjøslag Restaurant
Sjøslag Restaurant can be found at Fritzøe Brygge in Larvik. They offer delicious food made from fresh ingredients and have a pleasant atmosphere.
The kitchen is based on local ingredients, and showcases Vestfold's many food treasures. Here you can be served eggs from Solkysten, vegetables from Aasetre Gård, edible flowers from Skjærgårdshagen and fish from Sandefjord. They work closely with several local farms and suppliers, and change the menu according to the changing seasons.
The name "Sjøslag" directly translates to "sea battle". It is a reference to the restaurant's location - and is not a seafood restaurant. Here you will find both meat and fish on the menu. You can choose from the a la carte menu - or order a 3- or 5-course dinner. Otherwise, it is also recommended to try out their popular "Sjøslag-planke" on your next visit, consisting of the day's selection of snacks and small dishes.
Sjøslag is located at the far end of the jetty, with a view of the fjord and the sea gap. The restaurant is neighbor to the popular Farris Bad (red. spa hotell), so here you can nicely combine the SPA with a better dinner on the pier. In summer, the restaurant has a sunny outdoor terrace on the edge of the pier - and you can actually get here by boat. There is a guest pier just outside.
In addition to good food, Sjøslag is known for its good wine selection and has a varied wine list with something for every taste. In addition to this, they have a pleasant bar with a small selection of well-made cocktails.
Follow their social media and events calendar, they always have exciting happenings and themed dinners. Every Wednesday is steak night, with a special steak offer, and they are visited at regular intervals by well-known winemakers who host Winemakers dinners.
