The steak house is part of Skarven, which also consists of Vertshuset Skarven, Arctandria Sjømat Restaurant, Skarven Pub & Kro and Skarven Bar. As the name might suggest, the specialty of Biffhuset is beef, and here it is presented in the best quality.

Here, the restaurant takes care of the agricultural side and serves steak in several sizes and varieties - in addition to both chicken, veal and sheep. Veal and kjelost are also some of Biffhuset's specialties.

Josper Grill

In autumn 2012, the restaurant had a Josper grill installed, which is the best indoor grill on the market. Not only does the grill’s charcoal give flavour to the meat, but with temperatures of up to 500 degrees, it also gives it a tasty crust. That is how the meat juice is captured, with the taste remaining inside the meat. You will definitely be able to taste the difference!

Fantastic starters, juicy main courses and tempting desserts

The starters at Biffhuset are very popular - and with good reason! You will find several different dishes, and preferably from the sea as well, which is suitable as a light meal before the main course. They have everything from seals and whales, mussels to crab and potato skins, the latter filled with cheese and bacon.

For the main course, the obvious choice is one of their dishes from the grill, but you will, of course, also find salads and other dishes on the menu. On the diverse menu, you will find, among other things, tenderloin of reindeer, standing pork neck and the specialty kjesteik (kitten of goat), served with oven-baked vegetables, potatoes and red wine sauce!

Check out their cream cheese dish on their dessert menu! It is made from real colostrum and is an exclusive natural product! The cheese is flavoured with vanilla, sugar and caramel - or red sauce.

They also offer a variety of drinks such as wine, beer, dessert wine, liqueurs and fruit spirits!
