TAR's very first special dinner will take place on June 26!
For one day only, the Taiko drumming group TeamEn is coming straight from Japan to TAR to offer an unforgettable evening that will stay with you all summer long. The performance features Yosuke Oda, Abe Kazunari, and Miku Shibata.
The theme of this summer’s Taiko concert is 「祝の調べ」, pronounced Hogi no Shirabe, which translates to “Melody of Celebration” or “Harmony of Joy.” Hogi literally means to come together and rejoice, while Shirabe is an old Japanese word for “tuning” that also means “melody” or “tune.”
The musicians are excited to meet you and promise to pour all their energy and soul into the performance. They believe that the drums’ positive energy will resonate with everyone.
DINNER MENU:
BRIOCHE / Umeboshi, scallion oil, whipped butter, Asian-style broth
NORDIC SASHIMI / crispy sushi rice, salted whitefish, BBQ sour cream, whitefish roe
BEEF “TARtartar” / aged beef tartare, smoked and marinated pickles, Marunaka egg yolk, toasted crusty bread
LIMONCHELLO / sparkling sake, gold flakes
OCTOPUS / pea purée, grilled young peas, gochujang-caper tomato sauce
COCONUT GELATO / tropical passion fruit coulis
PRICE: €125/ per guest
The price includes a Taiko drum performance and a special dinner menu created by TAR’s head chef.
Doors open at 6:30 PM, and dinner will begin around 7:00 PM.
