At Sushibar + Wine, environmental friendliness, ethics, and sustainability are core values. We aim to reduce environmental impact and help our customers make better choices for the environment. Environmental considerations are integral to our corporate culture. Our green values are reflected in our daily operations, and we continuously strive to become more environmentally positive.
We focus on high-quality ingredients while emphasizing sustainable consumption. All orders are prepared from fresh ingredients on-site in our restaurants. Fish and seafood are primarily selected from the WWF's green list of sustainable options. We also collaborate with WWF, donating a portion of the proceeds from our collaborative assortment sales to Baltic Sea conservation efforts. Additionally, we have been awarded the Ekokompassi certification in recognition of our ongoing efforts to operate in a more environmentally friendly manner.
A vigilant wine enthusiast in Kamppi
The products on our wine list come from small estates, and the producers craft the wines using either organic or biodynamic methods. Our sommelier collaborates with our importer Viinitie to develop our wine selection. We have also developed our own Riesling in collaboration with Battenfeld Spanier and our own lager with Kimito Brewing. All our wines are produced using organic methods, although not all our producers have organic certification. Most of our other beverage options are also organic.
Nordic
We collaborate with Nordic interior design companies. Our furniture has always been timeless Artek Aalto series. We regularly refurbish our furniture, ensuring they last for years. Our dishes are mainly from Marimekko, and the Finnish wood artist Tebianin contributes to our selection.
We aim to support domestic small businesses and artists. The art in each of our restaurants is unique, and we favor emerging artists. For example, at Sushibar + Wine Freda, we have collaborated with Malaika Moll.
Welcome to dinner or a glass of wine! The restaurant has wheelchair access, and there is limited space for strollers depending on the situation.
