Tehtaan Hotelli (Factory Hotel) is located in the heart of the historic Högfors ironworks district in Karkkila, only an hour away from the Helsinki metropolitan area. Hotel's buildings have been built in different eras by the Högfors patrons and they are surrounded by a beautiful park in a manor-like environment. All the hotel buildings have been carefully renovated and decorated respecting their unique style and history. Today, the area is one of the most important parts of the culturally significant Högfors ironworks which is currently developing rapidly to an exciting destination. When you come to visit us at the Factory Hotel, you can choose your room from three different and unique buildings.

At the Clubhouse - a classic example of the Nordic funtionalist architecture - you will find our popular and high-quality restaurant and bar. During the summer we expand our restaurant to the surrounding park to our Tammen Alla (Under the Oak Tree) terrace. Our ambitious cuisine respects the traditions of European food culture: we use fresh and locally produced ingredients, our food is handmade and comes without any unnecessary bells and whistles.
