Since 1978 Tertti has functioned as a restaurant where you get to experience the best Saimaa gastronomic region has to offer. All this in an ambient and historic enviroment.
Regional and seasonal, traditional and modern, that’s how our delicious products are made. The corner stone of our food philosophy is to use our own and locally farmed produce. Using only Finnish produce is the be-all and end-all for us. Not to mention the traditional family recipes that have been the back bone of our kitchen since 1894. Hunting has also been a keen hobby for hosting family and together with selected affiliates we guarantee that all the meat, game or fish is 100 per cent Finnish quality.
The hosting family loves wines to say the least. Work & hobby combined has brought us delightful partners in wine. One to mention is a decade long partnership with Herve Lichtle. The wine list is a deeply considered ensemble which demonstrates the love and passion towards wine. Most of the wines are imported by ourselves from France.
