Lucca Restoran
Lucca Restaurant is located in Tiskre, near the former Lucca summer manor and park. The manor, named after the city of Lucca in the Tuscany region of Italy, was originally established by Baron Arthur Girard de Soucanton, who played a significant role in Estonia's business life in the second half of the 19th century, serving as a councilman and mayor of Tallinn. The baron hailed from a noble family in Languedoc-Roussillon, France.
In such a historically rich setting, Lucca restaurant has been operating since 2005. Although it is a cozy family restaurant with an Italian trattoria-style interior, the atmosphere is rather romantic.
The menu offers authentically Italian dishes. The selection includes various antipasti, fresh seafood, traditional meat dishes, handmade pastas and pizzas, and of course, the iconic Tiramisu. In addition to Italian wines, the selection includes a wide range of wines from France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, and Austria.
The wine list covers the entire boot-shaped country, from southern Sardinia and Sicily wines to the excellent wine production of northern Piedmont and Alto Adige. The restaurant’s wine business sources all its wines directly from Old World producers, always preferring those who are among the best in their respective regions.
Families with children are particularly important to us, and to create better conditions for children, we have furnished a playroom with the most extensive play options among Estonian restaurants. When dining with the family, the playroom with its abundant toys often becomes an argument in favor. We take care of the well-being of the little ones and create opportunities for parents to enjoy their meals. In the playroom, children will find a two-story wooden playhouse, a slide, a picnic corner, as well as dolls and toy cars. There is also a large playground with a slide and a swing next to the outdoor terrace, where children can have a great time in nice summer weather.
Lucca has been chosen as the best family restaurant twice by the gastronomic competition ‘Hõbelusikas’ and has been nominated seven times. It is also among the ‘Top 50 Restaurants in Estonia.’
