Põhjala Tap Room

Põhjala Tap Room welcomes you to the Kalamaja district in Tallinn. They have 24 tasty tap beers directly from Põhjala brewery and other small breweries all around the world. The restaurant resides on Peetri 5 in Tallinn and is close to Kalamaja Cemetery Park, Port Noblessner and Lennusadam, the maritime museum.

Texas BBQ

The restaurant’s menu is assembled under the guidance of chef Michael Holman. The flagship of the food menu is a delicious Texas BBQ, which is made daily (except Sunday) directly in their kitchen. In addition, there are a variety of snacks, sandwiches, salads and tasty desserts.

Made locally

All Põhjala Tap Room products, including baked goods, sauces, pickles, kimchi, bacon and sausages, are made locally. It guarantees both quality and grants knowledge of everything produced being honest and authentic.

Versatile location with a brewery

In addition to the beer restaurant, the building functions as a beer and souvenir shop, a private sauna and a brewery. Excursions to the latter are organized daily Thursday - Sunday. Within 45 minutes, you will be guided through the production facilities, learn about brewing, the story of Põhjala brewery and have time to taste three or four different beers. The price of the tour is 14 € per person, and you can book via DinnerBooking.

*Up to 20 people can take part in each excursion, and a booking minimum of 24 hours prior is required.

The sauna

The sauna is available to rent during the Tap Room’s opening hours and can accommodate up to eight people. The sauna features a steam room, showers, and a resting area with sofas and chairs.
