Welcome to Anarchy

Restaurant Anarki is located in Frederiksberg and opened its doors for the first time in November 2015. As the name suggests, Restaurant Anarki is a cheery new restaurant without too many rules and dogmas. Anarki is restaurant Mêlée’s daring little sister. The food here is bistro-style, simple but brilliant. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. Anarki is decorated retro style, with its cobber coloured bar, green pool table lamps and old maps on the wall. It’s the perfect place to wine and dine.

 

Anarchy rules in the kitchen

Rune Sauer is in charge of the kitchen and his focus is on food from all over the world. He says: "It will be a blend of everything, and I will get inspiration from what I just think is exciting right now - and it can be anything from Italian and American to New Nordic.”

He makes everything from classic dishes such as Vitella Tonnato or offal dishes with a veal heart. Anarki also offers in true bistro spirit the opportunity to dine family-style. Whatever you choose, you are guaranteed honest food with great flavour.

 

Bib Gourmand

Anarki is proof that gourmet food doesn’t have to cost the equivalent of a weekend trip to Paris. Anarki received its title “Bib Gourmand” in the Michelin Guide 2017 and has held the title since then. The Bib Gourmand title stands for a great meal for a good price. The restaurant was also the winner of the “Feel-good Experience of the Year” in the White Guide Denmark 2019.
