Old fisherman’s house

You are, therefore, right in the middle of the wonderful fisher environment. Here, you can feel the harbour vibes and maritime life while dining in the restaurant.
The place is named after Head Chef Puk Lyskjæs Larsen's great grandparents, Hans Rudolf and Niels Mathis, a fishmonger and a fisher at the old harbour in Kerteminde. They both spent their days in the exact rooms which now house the restaurant.
Classic French with Funen character
At Rudolf Mathis, the food is inspired by the French kitchen and the fresh Funen ingredients found from the areas around the restaurant. The menu, therefore, changes depending on what mother nature has to offer at the time.
The head chef makes world-class fish dishes. Puk Larsen has attained an international reputation when it comes to fish and fish products. You can, therefore, look forward to a remarkable fish experience here at Rudolf Mathis.
