Osteria 16 - Ravnsborggade
In the hip and popular Ravnsborggade in Nørrebro, you will find the charming antipasti restaurant and bar, Osteria 16. Here, there is a guarantee that the Italian vibes and good atmosphere accompany the square meters when you enter this cozy eatery.
A place for everyone
The restaurant exudes the special Italy vibes, which are hard to describe but easy to touch and feel. Osteria 16 is for everyone. The menu consists of eight different small dishes that you share at the table. Simplicity and originality are some of the keywords here when creating the menu of the day. In addition to the Italian imported goods, they also use local seasonal ingredients.
Italian antipasti with a touch of Pakistani
Morten Kaltoft has taken inspiration from FAMO and added it to the kitchen of Osteria 16. However, Kaltoft also plays with other cuisines. On the menu is, for example, the Pakistani curry. The wine menu is as much French as it is Italian.
Osteria 16 is, in a way, a completely original restaurant in Denmark with its Italian antipasti and Pakistani inspiration – it is definitely not something you experience every day.
The house wine made from one of the world's natural treasures
Osteria 16 has three vineyards in the Piedmont region. Here they produce two different red wines and white wine. Precisely these fields were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2017, so if you close your eyes, you might even see Piedmont's sun-drenched vineyards from your inner gaze as you take a sip of the house's wine.
The team behind Osteria 16
The men behind the place are Morten Kaltoft and Emil Alsbo. Together, the two also run the sister restaurant Osteria 16 in Vesterbro, the restaurant Spaghetteria and the Italian supermarket MERCATO, where you can buy Italian specialties directly imported from Italy or buy yourself an Italian lunch or dinner to-go.
