Højmølle Kro
Højmølle Kro is a popular meeting point on Falster thanks to its central location and good reputation. At the inn you can enjoy a delicious meal inspired by the New Nordic cuisine.
Højmølle Kro on Falster has far more years under its belt than you and I. Back in 1863, the inn received a royal charter, and the red brick house still stands. Inside, the innkeepers welcome guests with open arms and delightful dishes on the menu.
Guaranteed of good taste
At Højmølle Kro, there's a guarantee of delightful taste experiences rooted in New Nordic culinary traditions. The à la carte menu varies with the changing seasons and the different ingredients that shine brightest at the time. As often as possible, there will be delicious, fresh fish on the menu, and there are also dishes for children. Monday till Wednesday, there's also a daily special, which reflects classic Danish cuisine. In other words, there's something for every taste and age on the menu, and you'll surely find plenty to sink your teeth into.
Recognized trio runs the inn
The inn is run by the trio Kimmi, Jennifer, and restaurant manager Viktor. Kimmi and Jennifer both received their training from the restaurant chain Cofoco in Copenhagen and have, among other experiences, worked at the Michelin-recommended restaurant Theo. With these three at the helm, there's no wavering when it comes to great food and equally great service. Guests have noticed this as well, praising them for being smiling, welcoming, and always with a twinkle in their eyes, and for serving amazingly delicious and beautifully presented food.
