MASH is the place for you who want a delicious quality steak. From various restaurants, including the original one in Bredgade and their penthouse restaurant located on top of the Tivoli Hotel, MASH serves big, juicy steaks and good burgers.

A holistic experience
MASH stands for Modern American Steakhouse, so you will hardly realize that this is all about meat. At MASH you will find the best of the American steak tradition, namely large steaks cut from the best cattle in the world. In addition, there is a well-equipped wine list, inviting starters, soulful cocktails and desserts that will make your mouth water. The philosophy at MASH is that service and atmosphere are as important as your meal. You will find that they do not compromise with the ingredients, the taste, the settings, the details or the service. That is why the interior design has also been completed with their characteristic red leather sofas and chairs, which are characteristic of the interior design of all MASH restaurants.

The story behind
The first MASH restaurant opened back in 2009 in Bredgade, Copenhagen by Jesper Boelskifte, Erik Gemal and Francis Cardenau under the company Copenhagen Concepts, which also ran the restaurants Le Sommelier and Umami. The chain has since expanded with several restaurants in Copenhagen and in Charlottenlund, Rungsted, Århus, Frederiksberg and Odense, as well as a restaurant in Hamburg. The restaurants focus primarily on a varied offer of high-quality American cuts of meat as well as a specifically selected wine list with a focus on American wines. However, the restaurants also offer cuts of meat from Denmark, Uruguay and Australia.

The best of America
MASH offers the best of the American steak tradition. They serve big, juicy steaks of the highest quality, carefully selected from the best cattle in the world. On the menu you will find something for every taste, whether you are into juicy grain-fed American meat, a special piece of Uruguay Ribeye, a juicy burger or something else entirely. If you are not the biggest meat eater, there is also a selection of fish dishes, salads and various starters and desserts to choose from. The menu card is structured in such a way that you choose your meat or fish and then choose which side dish you want. The menu changes 3-4 times a year and follows the seasonal ingredients. Although the restaurant prides itself on being a steak restaurant, you still have the option of enjoying a vegetarian dish if you prefer a greener serving. As something new, in March 2022 MASH began to let their sauce flow in infinite quantities. They now offer gravy ad libitum, so you never lack creamy béarnaise for your juicy steak.

MASH Copenhagen Airport
MASH in Copenhagen Airport is the place's best and oldest steakhouse. Secluded, you can contemplate the busy environment of the airport and the view of the new dining area from the soft sofas.
