At HOS Vinbaren, you can find delightful wines in all price ranges. All wines are carefully selected by the house sommelier and co-owner, Michelle Hemme, who, with her trained taste buds and extensive expertise, has put together a wine list that can satisfy every palate.
Therefore, you do not have to be a wine connoisseur or spend a fortune if you want a good glass of wine here. If you fall in love with a particular wine, you can buy some bottles to take home.
The wine bar also offers a selection of craft beers and appetizers such as oysters, ham, cheeses, anchovies, and caviar.
Events and gatherings at the wine bar
HOS Vinbaren regularly hosts wine tastings where you can sample a selection of classic and experimental wines while gaining some new knowledge about these golden drops. You can also host your company event, birthday, or bachelor/bachelorette party in the cosy bar.
Talented enthusiasts behind it
A trio of passionate individuals, as of July 1, 2023, has opened the doors and invited guests in for wine, craft beer, and small, tasteful servings. The trio consists of the two owners of Restaurant HOS, Michelle Hemme and Jakob Spolum, as well as the restaurant manager at HOS, Jeppe Kjærgaard. Together, they have been running a successful and critically acclaimed restaurant since February 2019, with a special focus on gourmet open-faced sandwiches and seasonal evening menus.

Vinbaren is located on Store Gråbrødrestæde, where the vibrant city atmosphere is at its peak. The location makes it easy to drop by for a glass of bubbles in the afternoon sun or continue a delightful evening after dining out in Odense.
During the summer season, HOS Vinbaren is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 2 pm until midnight.
