In the fall of 2021, Svogerslev Kro got a new proprietor, Peter Møller. For many years, it has been a dream of his to run Svogerslev Kro. His dedication and commitment are something you can feel in every room. Charming historical inn

Svogerslev Kro in Roskilde has existed since 1727 and they are proud to carry on the legacy. This explains why the rooms are well-kept and true to the inn’s style throughout the ages. “Our ambition is to cook food from know-how, the best Danish produce - especially from local suppliers - and serve it in relaxing and unpretentious settings. Settings, that are true to the inn’s long history with minor changes to ensure comfort.”  Peter Møller, owner of Svogerslev Kro. 

Traditional Danish inn meals combined with new dishes

The red building with the thatched roof will have some thinking of an old, idyllic Danish movie. The menu offers traditional inn food but also more modern food. As for the traditional meals, you can bite into a flambéed steak au poivre which has been on the menu for ages. You can also order other delicious meals from the à la carte menu. For instance, you can find meals with fresh fish, lots of vegetables, good, Danish meat, and healthy food for both children and adults.
