The Bib Gourmand Restaurant Marv & Ben reopened on August 1, 2017 in a version 2.0. Restaurant Marv & Ben is beautifully located in Snaregade 4 in the heart of Copenhagen's medieval city. You can look forward to Nordic gastronomy of the highest quality.

The team behind

The restaurant manager is Johan Burich Holck and the kitchen manager is David Andersen. Johan has lots of experience from Nimb Brasserie and Alabama Social, while David has previously been working at the famous Hotel d'Angleterre, Nimb Terrace and Kadeau in Copenhagen.

Bib Gourmand

David Andersen & Johan Holck are proud to take over the restaurant after the former owner Frederik Hvidt, who has been running Marv & Ben for 10 years. For six years in a row, former owner Frederik and his team have gained a place in the Michelin Guide with a Bib Gourmand, and the new owners Johan Holck & David Andersen have a great respect for their predecessors: "Marv & Ben has had a Bib Gourmand six years in pull and it's a performance we really respect, "says the two new owners. And they continue:

"We are so fond of the place and the unique atmosphere of the old Copenhagen apartment. For us, it's a dream come true to have the opportunity to lead a restaurant like Marv & Ben, and at the same time put our own touch on the food, the wine and the whole experience that the guests get with us. "

At Marv & Ben you can look forward to Nordic gastronomy prepared from the bottom of local produce from small producers.

You can always look forward to tasty dishes based on the best organic ingredients of the season and the best of the world. Furthermore they have carefully selected wines that will match the food perfectly. However, it will shine through on the wine list that they have a love for Bordeaux.
