My visit to restaurant Fino in Gdańsk was a ok fine-dining experience. Good but not great. The service was a bit stiff. One waitress even looked annoyed when I did not order the - by her recommended - wine pairing. It also did take some time before empty glasses were filled, even though the bottle was next to our table, and the restaurant is not that big or busy. The food was full of bold and rich flavours most of the time but, therefore lacked balance sometimes. The final course, the dessert, which came direct after the main course, looked like a experiment by the chef. It was flavoursome, but very intense. Too intense to end an already intense menu. Besides this, the chef masters cooking skills and uses good, fresh ingredients. I would recommend this restaurant for a more casual fine dining-expierence.
