Oberra

A cosy café should have a nice atmosphere, good service, and lovely food. These three criteria are met in wonderful Oberra, which is located in Nørrebro, Copenhagen. 

A calm atmosphere and an appetising menu

At Oberra, which is located on Skjolds Plads, they encourage the walk-in culture. Here, you can swing by for breakfast, lunch, and dinner or even just a cup of freshly brewed coffee. If you read the café’s name backwards, you will notice that it says ‘Arrebo’, which is the name of the owner's other café in Nørrebro. Common to both cafés is the cosy atmosphere, where you have the possibility to relax and enjoy a nice meal or beverage in a nice setting. 

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner

The dinner menu consists of five servings (250 kr pr guest), and the head chef changes the dishes on a daily basis. On the à la carte menu, you can order dishes like gazpacho, roasted black cabbage, cold-smoked Islandic salmon and stracciatella with endive. For lunch, you can find lighter dishes such as grilled sourdough with different types of toppings and spreads like salmon rillette, gammelknas (Danish cheese) or cottage cheese with cucumber and dill.  On the breakfast menu, you have typical breakfast elements like greek yoghurt with granola and fresh baked goods.

Wonderful area in Nørrebro

Oberra is a cosy place to enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner. The café is close to Skjolds Plads Metro station and the area is great for a nice walk after the meal. Next time you want to spoil yourself or someone you care about, you should go here. The café is open every day of the week except Mondays. On weekends, they close at midnight. Oberra is the obvious choice if you and your company want to stop by for a glass of wine or a cold beer later in the evening.
