Tisvilde Kro

Tisvilde Kro is located in wonderful Tisvildeleje north of Copenhagen. The head chef, Peter Stub, has high ambitions of making à la carte French bistro dishes from the seasonal produce.

Charming inn in idyllic Tisvildeleje

There are many good reasons to visit this idyllic and vibrant seaside town. Tisvildeleje is located on the beautiful coast of the northern part of Zealand. Here, by the long, family-friendly beaches and the vigorous forest, you have the opportunity to relax in idyllic settings. Moreover, the town is known for its cultural and social events but even more so for its amazing restaurants. Among these great restaurants, you find Tisvilde Kro. Here you can get a lovely dinner on weekends from 6 p.m. In the summer months, they are open from Wednesday to Sunday, where dinner is served on their cosy terrace.

The menu changes with the seasons

‘En Aften På Kroen’ which translates into ‘A Night In The Inn’ consists of classic French bistro food. The three-course bistro menu changes every weekend. You will get a small, delicate starter, a savoury main course, and a delicious dessert. If you have a big appetite you can order extra dishes to share for the table such as tarte flambée with bacon and onion or goat cheese, leek and thyme and sardines, boquerones and artichoke heart. Naturally, the inn has a good selection of drinks and wines. You can always order the classic cocktails, the inn’s very own spritzer, beer, wine, and champagne.

Beautiful surroundings and friendly waiters

Tisvilde Kro has a cosy and rustic atmosphere just like in the bistros in France. This familiarity and beautiful setting will have you feel instantly welcome. You will be greeted by a friendly team of waiters that will do anything in their power to create the frames for a perfect evening for you. Come over and enjoy a lovely dinner to the sound - and the view of Hesselø bay, which roars calmly in the background and the wind that tugs at the dunes of Tisvildeleje.
