At PONY, you can enjoy a simple approach to dining without compromising on quality, ingenuity or taste. The wines are juicy and tasty, mainly from organic and biodynamic producers. Prices offer value for money, allowing you to re-visit often or opt for the full package without breaking the bank! Open for dinner on Vesterbrogade in Copenhagen, six days a week, since September 2012.

Baby Brother of Michelin-starred Restaurant Kadeau

The Co-Owner of PONY is Nicolai Nørregaard. He is a Danish culinary star in the field. He is co-founder and Head Chef of Kadeau in Copenhagen and Bornholm, which he can pride himself on has two and one star in the Michelin Guide. They have held them ever since gaining them in 2014, 2016, and 2018. When Kadaeu moved to bigger premises in the Christianshavn area, Nørregaard decided to put the then-empty space into good use and opened PONY, which is similar in approach to Kadeau but simpler in composition and more affordable.

Masterclass Restaurant

The restaurant can boast itself of its stacking pile of medals and achievements. PONY is the winner of AOK's Best New Restaurant in 2013, nominated Best Bistro in 2014 by iByen and included as a masterclass restaurant by the White Guide in 2015. Now, they can add another achievement to their collection as they are currently recommended in the Michelin Guide and have the honour of the Michelin Plate title 2019.

Pony – Natural Food and Wine

Pony has a focus on nature in food and wine, but also when it comes to décor. The vibe inside is relaxed and unfussy. The lighting is warm and is at the same pace as the food. It is simple yet delicious. The kitchen makes Scandinavian dishes made from seasonal and local ingredients. You can choose any dishes based on what you desire the most and add matching wines to complete your experience.
