The Wokshop chain has gradually become a key player in Denmark regarding Thai cuisine, and there is a definite reason for this. Here you will be served freshly prepared, authentic wok dishes filled with spice and other delicious ingredients.

The best of Thai cuisine

At Wokshop, they serve all the best of Thai cuisine. The food is freshly prepared, authentic, aromatic, and spicy - Just as Thai food should be. A plus is that the dishes are also low in fat, healthy and affordable. You can eat here often without feeling guilty and without having to empty your wallet. You can start with a few small dishes in the form of crispy spring rolls, marinated tiger prawns or wontons with chicken. Then you can move on to one of the restaurant’s many delicious wok and curry dishes.

The possibilities are many, and the restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner. It is also possible to take dinner home as a takeaway.

Decor: Asian touch, light, and airy

At the restaurants, there is a big focus on the decor, which has a distinctly Asian touch. Combined with their bright and airy rooms, Wokshop's many restaurants have a very cozy atmosphere, which is perfect for an evening with friends or a partner.

The story behind: From small Thai cantina to successful chain

Wokshop came to be when Kenneth Heske opened a small Thai cantina on Ny Adelgade, in Copenhagen K, in 2000. It was intended to be a pit stop for people on the go or as a break-spot while shopping. However, people flocked to the restaurant, and there was often a queue to get a seat. As the restaurant’s popularity grew, so did the chain. Today, Wokshop has several restaurants throughout Denmark.

You can, for example, enjoy Wokshop in Amager, Frederiksberg, Hellerup, Kgs. Nytorv, Lyngby, Lyngby – Kinopalæet, Østerbro, Valby, Odense and Rungsted. And if you have not yet tried their concept, then you have a lot to look forward to.
