Geranium is located on the 8th floor in Fælledparken (Common Gardens) in the center of Copenhagen. The restaurant has a dreamy view of the park's treetops and the city's green copper roofs. The location emphasizes Geranium's vision: Gastronomic clarity and diversity and a desire to explore the tension between the urban and the natural.


Three Michelin stars

In February 2016 Geranium was enriched with a third Michelin star and thus it became Denmark's first three-star Michelin restaurant. According to Rebecca Burr from Michelin the restaurant received their third star because of their chef Rasmus Koefoed. He is "a great craftsman, highly talented, but also humble as a person. He seems to have an innate gift where nothing is forced or exaggerated," she says to Politiken. She adds: "It looks like he is surrounded by the perfect team among others his restaurant manager (Søren Ledet, ed.), who are just as professional and dedicated as Rasmus Kofoed himself. Some of the dishes I've got through many years have just been lifted to the next level at Geranium. It was the right time for a third star. "


World's best chef

Not only does the restaurant have three Michelin stars – It is furthermore number 2 on the list of the world's best restaurants in 2021 AND has one of the world's best chefs. Chef Rasmus Kofoed was voted best chef in 2011 in the world championships in cooking, Bocuse D'Or.

Rasmus Kofoed is also the most winning chef in the Bocuse d'Or contest ever, since he won both a gold, silver and bronze medal through the years. There is no doubt, that with a booking at Geranium you are guaranteed a taste of the highest quality.
