In the Middle of Nature’s Wild Pantry

Moment is on the outskirts of the sustainable village of Friland and in the middle of the National Park Mols Mountains. Nature’s wild pantry surrounds the restaurant, which consists of an edible forest garden. The crops from here end up on the plate immediately after being picked. Restaurant Moment is close to nature in all aspects, and this can be seen and tasted on the plate.


Acclaimed Vegetarian Restaurant

In February of 2019, the restaurant had the honour of being recognized by the prestigious Michelin Guide. They earned the title of “Bib Gourmand” for making great food for good value. The Michelin Guide announced the restaurants' new title on Twitter and said that Moment is “eco-friendly with a focus on sustainability.” 

They have also won the Sustainable Gastronomy award of 2019 in the 360 Eat Guide, which puts Moment at the top with their high ambitions on cuisine and sustainability.
