Restaurant Tchaikovsky / Hotel Telegraaf

Restaurant Tchaikovsky offers aesthetic pleasure in addition to an unforgettable gastronomic experience. It is an elegant fine dining restaurant located in Tallinn’s Old Town, a celebration of food and music. Just as a symphony is separated into movements, each with its own tempo and mood, so is a remarkable meal. When food and music are properly paired they make for an experience that lasts a lifetime.

Restaurant Tchaikovsky is perennially at the top of the list of Best Restaurants in Estonia. Some of the accolades include being recognised by the MICHELIN Guide and White Guide, Flavours of Estonia.

Gastronomy in the words of Restaurant Tchaikovsky

At the end of the 18th century, France's best chefs found their way to Russia. The fusion of Russian and French cuisine has given the world a symbiosis eternally rich in flavours that can be fully enjoyed at the restaurant here in Tallinn. Our passion is to reproduce the recipes of forgotten masters and infuse them with our own experience and vision.

“A little bit of humour, love and salt,“ – this is how our chef de cuisine Denis Golik describes gastronomy. "Gastronomy is my everyday life. I am very meticulous about culinary details, fundamental techniques and cuisine that delivers the very best products of the earth to the table. Neither detail nor element can be less important or more important than the other. A good meal is an emotional experience that takes the guests to the jorney of flavours."

Seasonal delights

Whether you are spoiling yourself with a la carte dinner in our stunning restaurant or hiding away in your spacious bedroom with delicious room service menu, count on Denis and his brigade to create an exquisite meal. The menu is bold, modern meeting of French tastes, Russian traditions, and Estonian ingredients.

A floral oasis – the Summer Terrace

Just around the corner from Tallinn Old Town’s Town Hall square you will find a hidden oasis within the city, like a secret garden waiting to be discovered. Surrounded by medieval walls and luscious greenery, the spacious terrace serves both lunch and dinner, weather permitting. Stop by for a relaxed lunch, an  afternoon cocktail, or dinner with your loved ones
