DinnerBooking respect your need for privacy. Whether you sign up for services offered through DinnerBooking’s website, or if you just visit our site. If you provide personal information to DinnerBooking, DinnerBooking will treat it according to this policy. DinnerBooking encourage you to read this privacy policy regarding the protection of your personal data.

Consent to and updating of policy

By using DinnerBooking’s website, you consent to DinnerBooking collecting and using your information as set out in the policy below. DinnerBooking reserves the unilateral right to update, modify and change its policy on the protection of personal data. All such updates, modifications, changes and alterations are binding on all users of DinnerBooking’s website and they will be posted here.

Collection of personal information

It’s up to you to decide what personal information you give us. We collect only the personal information you choose to provide us. Whenever possible, we give you the opportunity to choose how we may use this information (for example, by choosing to enable or disable the receipt of special promotional offers).

You can choose to give us personal information, if you for example: send a query to us; register on the website, fill out an analysis form, or other forms containing your personal information; request us for information; enter a contest; provide information on the parts of the website, which are generally available to the public or participate in promotions.

You have the option to choose not to receive communications from us whenever we ask for information about you. By providing us with personal information, you understand fully and give your clear acceptance that this information is transferred to and collected and processed in other countries or regions. Any such transfer or processing by us is in accordance with this privacy policy.

Third parties (including software providers, advertisers and ad placement agencies) may also use tracking technologies on or through the website. We assume no responsibility for third party tracking, data collection and other activities.

We use information collected from you in the following ways:

  • Marketing purposes: We may use the information for internal marketing analysis, for example to assess trends amongst our consumers or to measure traffic to our websites. When you give us permission to contact you, we use your personal information via e-mail to tell you about our and our subsidiaries’, affiliated companies’, parent companies’ and their affiliates’ products and services. Any permission granted, means that you give your consent to be contacted by e-mail or text message. However, you can opt out of these communications at any time. We may also share non-personal information with others, for example advertisers, in aggregate anonymous form, which means that the data does not include personally identifiable information about you.

  • For restaurants: When you make a reservation via DinnerBooking your name, phone number and your e-mail address is passed for the restaurant, so they, if necessary, can confirm any information about requirements for diet, special preferences or wants, set menus, group bookings etc. Your email address will not be passed to the restaurant for advertising purposes unless you explicitly state that you are interested in receiving advertisements from the restaurant by email.

    DinnerBooking exchange only the information specified above with the restaurant, you have made reservations at via DinnerBooking. The restaurants do not have access to information about guests or guest history from other restaurants, however, the restaurants under the same corporate governance can select among themselves to exchange information about the guests.

    Restaurants may receive summary feedback reports from recent guests. If you submit comments on a restaurant (through an evaluation by DinnerBooking), these will be shared with the restaurant in anonymous form. However, there is a possibility that a restaurant associate specific feedback with your reservation. You can choose not to remain anonymous when you submit comments, if you have information about you, or give contact information such as e-mail address that the restaurant can use to respond to your feedback.

    Email from restaurants: You can also give your consent to receive marketing communications from the restaurant you have made a reservation at. DinnerBooking has nothing to do with the restaurants’ marketing inquiries, neither in terms of content, frequency, time or the deregistration procedure. If you wish to unsubscribe to a restaurant’s marketing inquiries, please contact the restaurant directly.

  • Transactions: We may use your personal information to respond to inquiries and requests from you and to process transactions such as credit card payments of goods you have ordered from us or our agents or for carrying out such operations (e.g. supply). The personal information you provide to us may be used by an authorized vendor for execution. Notwithstanding the above, we store no financial information about you.

  • Offers from third parties: We may arrange for carefully selected organizations to send you marketing and promotional information that may be of interest to you. Your personal information will in these circumstances be given to those organizations who agree to be bound by the declaration privacy terms. We obtain your permission before we send you such communications.

    Parts of the website, which are generally available to the public (or interactive): Information that you post on or through the parts of the website that is open to the public (for example chat rooms, bulletin boards and discussion forums), is open to and can be collected and used by others and may result in unsolicited messages or other communications from others. The website users are urged to exercise caution with personal information about themselves on the parts of the website, which are generally available to the public.

  • Sale and transfer: In the event of a sale, merger, consolidation, change in control, transfer of substantial assets, reorganization or liquidation, we may transfer or sell any information concerning your relationship with us to any third party, including, without limitation, personally identifiable information that you provide and other information concerning your relationship with us.

  • Administration and data management: We may transfer your personal information to third parties with injunction of secrecy, where the implementation of services related to the above activities be subcontracted (e.g. administration of a marketing campaign).

  • Legal purposes: We may disclose your personal information if permitted or required by law or where we believe such action is necessary to protect or defend our, our customers or website users.

  • Links: The website may contain links or references to other websites which are outside our control. Please note that we have no control over these sites and our privacy statement does not apply to those websites. If you are one of DinnerBookings registered users, we need your help to ensure that the personal information you provide DinnerBooking is accurate and up to date. If there is a change in your name, address, company, phone number or email address, you must urgently inform DinnerBooking thereof so that we are able to make changes to your registered user profile.


When you visit our website, we may automatically (i.e. not by registration) collect non-personal data (e.g. Type of Internet browser and operating system used, domain name of the website from which you came, number of visits, average time spent on the site, pages viewed). We may use this data to monitor the attractiveness of our websites and to improve the websites and the contents of any.

We may collect aggregate statistics about our users in terms of numbers, traffic patterns and related information from the website and can pass them on to third parties (e.g. advertisers). We do not link the information collected through cookies with other personally identifiable information unless required or permitted by law, or if it is done to make the conditions of use of DinnerBooking applicable.

If required by law, for example in response to a court order or subpoena, we will disclose the personal and non-personal information. We may also disclose such information in response to a specific request from a law enforcement or other search engines etc.

DinnerBooking automatically tracks how the content provided is used. This tracking allows us to gain a better understanding of potential areas for improvement so as to continually improve the relevance of and access to content on our site.

In doing so DinnerBooking sometimes puts certain information called ”cookies” on a visitor’s computer. These ”cookies” allow a more detailed level of tracking to fine tune our usage reports site. However should you disable the “cookies” on your computer, you still have exactly the same access to content on as if you had ”cookies” enabled.
